Jamaica celebrates Independence Day on August 6th each year. Jamaica became an independent nation on August 6, 1962; never to be ruled again by the British or by anyone. We love it that we are now our own boss and run our own show. This calls for a grand celebration. So today eat, drink and be merry. Happy 46th Jamaica. Bim!
