Byron Lee was a great Jamaica icon in life and will continue to be a great Jamaican icon in death. RIP Byron Lee. Because we love to have fun and party, we will especially remember you for bringing carnival to Jamaica, from Sunday night at Chukka Cove to Sunday all day at the road parade. But your achievements went way beyond Jamaica Carnival. You did your part for Jamaica and you did it very well. You are a model for our citizenry and a true patriot.
